A blog devoted to Buckethead. Slunks welcome
It’s all done, just gotta go back for some touch ups and adding some white :)
I love it! :)
Buckethead at the Soul Kitchen, Mobile AL, Oct. 13, 2011. Just before I got to hit the killswitch. The highlight of a long career of concert-going. I am a 57 year-old woman with a deep love for rock’n roll and theatrics, and I would love to take Buckethead shopping for a new pair of tennis shoes.
check it out!

It really depends on how many people open for him. Generally on the longer side…you will do a lot of waiting though too! Probably 3 - 4 hours with the wait an opening act(s). He plays a good hour and a half with the only break being when he hands out toys!

Unfortunately, there isn’t much capacity for crowd-involvement beyond a brief intermission in the middle of his set to exchange toys and gifts with the audience. He doesn’t (in the shows I’ve seen) make any attempt to talk or communicate after the show’s completed either, so no photo-ops. He ends his final song and just walks off the stage. Not even an encore.
Rarely though, Herbie the hand-puppet will do the talking for him, if any. If you’re really lucky, that’s your best bet.

In the past years he did switch to a white bucket, but now with this tour he is back to the good ol’ KFC bucket!
